Blogging on the go

Blogging on the go for the first time today!

Just discovered this app called Blogspace and am giving it a try now, while eating my free pudding (so very kindly offered to me by one of the chefs here).

The reason why I hadn't been very active on this blog is because the web version of blogspot didn't have a photo-upload function on the go.

And I am one who loves to express moments through photos. In this sense, FB was a lot easier. But I didn't really want to share too much of my thoughts on FB (just to you privileged few ;) so don't spread my link around ok?) and I need a space to lay out my jumbled thoughts so things have more clarity. Writing can really be therapeutic.

On this lovely Saturday in Tokyo, I am spending time savoring my lunch while reading this book called "The 7 habits of highly effective people".

This book is taking me forever to read. Not because it's dry or difficult to read, but because to fully absorb the ideas, you'll need to slowly savor it. And what better time to do that than on a drizzly Saturday afternoon with a hot cup of coffee?

I'll be back with more.

I need to write

So I can sort out my thoughts and everything will be clearer.

The problem is.

It doesn't come flowing. It's blocked somewhere inside.

Need to release it..

Almost spring

Today I finally managed to get myself out of the door for some much-needed sunshine.

I'd never been a big fan of the sun actually, but being out on a sunny winter day makes a difference when you'd been stuck indoors, only being able to see sunlight from the window, but not feel it on your skin.

The wind today brings a hint of spring; I can almost imagine the sakura petals on those naked trees along the river. I see people cycling on the streets, wind in their hair. And an impulse to buy a bicycle right from the store down the street surges in me.

I didn't succumb to the impulse. I told myself: there are 3 months ahead for you to enjoy the spring wind on the bicycle. It doesn't have to be today.

Today I shall enjoy the slow stroll down the streets.
